Different versions
The ramp posts are available in two versions:
- Electrically powered
- Hydraulically driven
Both versions ensure smooth and reliable operation of the bollards. The hydraulic version uses a compact pump unit with adjustable overpressure protection and an emergency lowering valve, so the bollards automatically lower in the event of a power failure.
Options for added safety and functionality
The automatic ramps can be expanded with various options to further enhance safety and convenience:
- Concrete fill: Reinforces the posts by filling them with concrete for extra strength.
- Stainless steel design: the posts can be made of stainless steel for higher resistance to scratches and an attractive appearance.
- Powder coating: Finish in a desired RAL color for an aesthetic and durable finish.
- Light wreath: Red LED light wreath on the top of the pole for extra visibility in the dark.
- Reflective strip: For improved visibility and added safety.
Different control options
CBM Montfoort offers several control options for the automatic ramp posts, including:
- Control Cabinet: Equipped with an up-down button and a freely programmable PLC control. This cabinet provides the ability to control the poles through an alarm system and includes motor protection.
- Underground control unit: The hydraulic pump unit is placed underground in a specially designed housing, based on the electric well principle invented by CBM Montfoort.
- Remote control and receiver: This option allows remote control of the poles. The receiver can support up to 200 remote controls and is equipped with an outdoor antenna.
Additional safety features
- Anti-sabotage notification: Detects attempts to tamper or sabotage the poles. This option works only in conjunction with the control box.
- Vibration Sensor: Records vibrations applied to the poles and triggers an alarm in case of unauthorized movement. The sensitivity of the vibration sensor can be adjusted.
- Safety loops: Prevent the poles from raising when a vehicle is above them. This system increases safety in high-traffic locations.
- Traffic guide: A guide in the middle of the driveway on which a stainless steel notification post can be placed.
- Stainless steel notification post with portadial: Allows visitors to sign in via a telephone system.
- Stoplight poles: Two stainless steel poles with red/green stop lights. The light turns green when the poles are down and red when the poles are up.
Required installation & assembly
The installation of ramp posts requires a number of technical facilities:
- Connection to 1 WCD (16A) at the control box
- Necessary cabling for alarm notification
